Ian is a qualified Civil Engineer with an MBA in Finance. He has amassed over 20 years experience in the property and finance sectors where he has been involved with public and private company acquisitions and sales as well as corporate and property finance. Ian managed London & Edinburgh Trust’s various serviced property activities including creating a network of 15 centres. In addition to the creation and growth of Citibase Ian has worked with David Joseph for 15 years on the acquisition, growth and sale of Harley Street Medical House and the creation, growth and sale of Freehold Managers PLC the property manager of the £146m Freehold Income Trust.
Between 1999 and 2002, Steve was Group Sales & Marketing Director of Regus plc. Between 1999 and 2000, Regus doubled its global revenues through the introduction of yield-management techniques.
The radical improvement in operational profitability enabled the successful IPO of Regus in London and New York.
Prior to Regus, Steve was Director of International Sales at Avis Europe at the time of their flotation. Before joining Citibase, Steve was Board Director of SIRVA UK, (a subsidiary of Clayton Dubilier and Rice) the relocation and storage company which owned the removals business, Pickfords. On joining Citibase, Steve resigned his position as Non-Executive Director of MWB Business Exchange plc, where he was chairman of the Audit committee.
David is a qualified building surveyor with over 30 years experience in the commercial property sector. He trained with King & Co., before joining the International Department of property consultants, Knight Frank. David later joined Portmans as Development Director in charge of a substantial redevelopment portfolio. This was followed by work on various development projects including a serviced office joint venture with London & Edinburgh Trust, where he first met Ian Read.
David’s recent focus has been on establishing Citibase as one of the UK’s leading providers of serviced offices.
Philip Warner is Chairman of Warner Estate Holdings PLC. Philip joined the board of Warner Estates Holdings PLC in March 1979 and was appointed Chairman in 1993. He is a qualified barrister, a Nonexecutive Director of Stonemartin PLC and a Director of several private companies.
The Directors intend to appoint an additional non-executive director during the first half of 2009.
Caroline is responsible for the operation of all the Citibase centres. Caroline has worked in business to business support services for fifteen years. Prior to joining Citibase, Caroline was Operations Director at Prontaprint Ltd.
Richard was previously General Manager at Regus Plc with responsibility for Eastern Europe. He was then given troubleshooting responsibility for the London region. Following his successful troubleshooting role at Regus he has worked primarily in the interim market in company recovery and turnaround.
Richard was also at Red Bull where he was Development Director.
Lisa has 20 years experience in the service industry. Her responsibilities include human resources, health & safety and training. Lisa is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and was sponsored, by Citibase, through her Masters degree in human resource management.
Phillip has extensive experience in Distribution, Pricing and Yield Management, including 18 years with Hilton International in operational and central roles with his final position being Director of Distribution. Prior to working with Citibase, Phillip managed the pricing and yield management for Regus Worldwide.
Jon, a Chartered Accountant (ACA), has over fifteen years experience working with high growth private equity backed SMEs as an Investment Director and in Finance/ M&A Director roles. His experience includes leading the acquisition strategy of the Hydrex Group, a Bridgepoint Capital backed business, as M&A Director. He has also held Investment Director roles at the private equity divisions of Royal Bank of Scotland plc and Lloyds Bank plc. He joined Citibase from DBK Group Ltd where he was Group Finance Director.
David has nine years experience in the serviced office industry along with experience of facilities management gained working for Halliburton and GEC. David is responsible for the production of management and financial accounts, forecasting and controlling expenditure against budget. David also oversees the development of Citibase’s management information systems and is responsible for the training of finance staff.
Paras is responsible for the production of the Management and financial accounts. Prior to joining Citibase in 2005, Paras spent six years in the role of Senior Auditor at Mackenzie Field Chartered Accountants where he gained his membership to ACCA. Following that he was admitted to fellow membership of ACCA in 2007.
